What is recorded here

A granite slab (dims. 1.1m x 0.44m; T 0.33m), now set up in the chapter house at the E end of the cathedral (WX015-003003-) has a moulding around the edge and a raised ringed cross in the centre. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 30 April, 2012
A Christian cross-slab, likely dating to the early medieval period (7th–10th century), associated with the ecclesiastical site of Ferns, possibly marking a burial or commemorative site. The ringed cross suggests a connection to monastic or high-status Christian tradition.
