Cross-slab in Clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00229 Dimensions: A 0.28 x 0.215 x 0.12cm B 0.32 x 0.185 x 0.09cm Double outline hollow angled ring cross inside a three line rectilinear frame with well executed fret pattern. The surviving cross arm has a cord pattern but most of the cross design is lost. No inscription. Evidence of discovery: Davis 1984. Condition: Two adjoining fragments, part of frame and stem(?).. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. A copy of the record for this slab is available for inspection in the relevant Archaeological Survey of Ireland (SMR) file.
