This cross-slab, dating likely to the early medieval period (7th–10th century), reflects Christian symbolism with the ringed cross and triquetra, possibly representing the Holy Trinity or spiritual protection. Such stones were often associated with monastic sites like Clonmacnoise and may have marked graves or served as devotional objects.
