What is recorded here

Clonmacnoise cross-slab CLN00657 is a small broken fragment, 13.5 centimetres tall and 11.5 centimetres wide, with no inscription and only a possible fret border left. It may have stood among the graves as a marker for someone whose name has not survived. The missing part could have carried a cross, a face or a warning, but what is left is a thin stone edge, sharp enough to remind that memory itself comes in fragments.
