Dimensions: H 0.44, W 0.76, T 0.085
Surviving arms and stem of cross show a double outline cross with hollow angles very crudely executed. The inner line of the cross does not follow the outer line. This must have been an extremely large cross slab.
No inscription.
Evidence of discovery: Davis 1984
Condition: Fragment. Surface badly worn and flaking.
National Monuments Service, Photo number: 81-1365. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. A copy of the record for this slab is available for inspection in the relevant Archaeological Survey of Ireland (SMR) file.

Probably dates to the early medieval period (7th–10th century), reflecting Christian symbolism common in monastic sites like Clonmacnoise. The crude execution suggests it may have been a local or memorial cross slab, possibly associated with burial or territorial marking.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
