Half a cross, broken and buried, still holds its shape in Clonmacnoise. The missing half may have been snapped off in haste or lost to time, but the remaining stone keeps its line and angle intact.

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00098 Dimensions: H 0.47, W 0.325, T 0.03 Half the cross design only survives showing an outline cross with hollow angles and a median line inside a two line rectilinear frame, the inner line of which is made up by the outer line of the cross.
