Cross-slab in Clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00464 Dimensions: H 1.75, W 0.60, T 0.10 base 0.15 x 0.40cm Romanesque graveslab Outline cross with circular centre containing debased petal pattern decoration with foliage around the stem and top of the cross. There is a rectangular base with tegulated pattern on it. Fixed to the north wall of the Cathedral. No inscription. Evidence of discovery: Davis 1984. Condition: Worn and flaked but still in one piece.. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works.
