What is recorded here
Breaker stones struck the chamber floor, lifting a shallow cross slab no larger than a bread loaf. The fragment preserved one arm, part of the frame and the letters TCE before erosion erased the name. A small cross for a forgotten person, buried beneath centuries of chamber building.
