What is recorded here

The Cross-slab in Clonmacnoise is a small worn fragment from the ancient monastery, measuring only 0.13 metres high and 0.225 metres wide. It bears a broken inscription reading OR D, yet no cross remains visible on its surface. This tiny stone survived the loss of most of itself, preserving just enough to remind that Clonmacnoise once marked many lives in stone.
