Cross-slab in Clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00583 Dimensions: H 0.17, W 0.13, T 0.04 Very difficult to make out the design. Possibly part of a ring cross (?)/ Inscription: The letters 'RD' or 'RO'. Evidence of discovery: Davis 1984. Condition: Part of cross and inscription.. Probably dates to the early medieval period, associated with Christian monastic activity in Clonmacnoise. The inscription and possible ring cross suggest a funerary or commemorative function, though its exact meaning remains unclear.
