What is recorded here

Templebeg graveyard in County Kerry still holds a loose cross-inscribed stone beside two others that vanished from local sight. The plain marker and lost companions suggest a small worship place where people set stones, remembered deaths and left the field to rain. What is missing may have been buried, broken or carried away, but the remaining cross keeps the chamber alive under an ordinary sky.

Templebeg/An Teampall Beag: A stone lying loose in the graveyard is inscribed with a plain cross, and a 2nd cross-inscribed stone and a rude stone cross were formerly visible (Curran no.31; Macalister).
