Cross-base of mica schist (dims. 0.7m x 0.58m; H 0.12m) set into the wall of a possibly modern stone enclosure or cashel (WI023-025----) (Healy 1972, 22). Cross-base now located inside centre of cashel of uncertain date. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
