What is recorded here

Cross Geo is a sea cliff located in the Shetland Islands, composed primarily of Old Red Sandstone, dating to the Devonian period (approximately 400–360 million years ago). It formed through sedimentation in a shallow marine or fluvial environment, later uplifted and eroded by coastal processes, and is notable as part of the extensive and geologically significant sandstone formations of northern Scotland.
