Crook Knott rises to approximately 623 metres and is part of the Lake District National Park, situated within the Kentmere Valley. It is composed mainly of Ordovician slate and is a popular destination for walkers due to its proximity to the town of Kendal and its scenic position overlooking Lake Windermere.
