What is recorded here

Cromlech Cloghogle stands near Ballina in County Mayo as a Neolithic portal tomb, likely built between 4000 and 2500 BC. Its double name preserves both a retired English word and a living Gaelic identity, marking it as a place people remembered long before modern records existed. The stones still hold that old attention, waiting for hands to touch them and imagine the dead who first shaped the ground.
