Crockancavy Fort

On the summit of a ridge in low- lying grassland. Known locally as 'Lis a Roch' (Neary 1914, 119, no. 27), this well-preserved oval rath (N-S 32m, E-W 23.5m) is defined by a scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank; the latter is overlain by a field wall from W through N to SE. Crockancavy Fort, Flaskagh More is a well-preserved early-medieval oval ringfort, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries AD, situated on a ridge summit.
