This monument was excavated (Licence no. 03E1362Ext) in advance of development. Located 4m W of prehistoric kiln (DU012-089----) this feature consisted of a small pit filled with a charcoal-rich deposit that contained many fragments of cremated bone. Charcoal from this feature yielded a calibrated date of 1114–907 BC (Moriarty 2005). Compiled by: Christine Baker Date of upload: 5 February 2015
