Creigiau Car is a sea cliff composed primarily of Silurian greywacke, formed around 440–420 million years ago through sedimentation and subsequent lithification in an ancient marine environment. It is notable for its exposure of durable volcaniclastic rocks that contribute to the rugged coastal landscape of west Wales.
