Creag Colluscard is a sea cliff located in the Highland region of Scotland, composed primarily of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in the British Isles, dating back approximately 2.7 to 3 billion years. These metamorphic rocks formed deep within the Earth's crust through high-pressure and high-temperature processes, and were later exposed by erosion, making the cliff notable for its ancient geological history and contribution to understanding the Precambrian crust of Scotland.
