What is recorded here
Crannog is a drowned chamber in Camlough Reservoir, not a distant myth but a living edge of human memory. The water closed the door, yet the chamber still breathes through rain, pressure and patience. To dive there is to enter a room where forgetting learned to kneel.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CRANNOG (submerged) in CAMLOUGH RESERVOIR. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
