CRANNOG? in Lower Lough Erne

CRANNOG?

What is recorded here

Crannog is a hidden chamber where forgotten things wait to be remembered. The chamber holds a black jar, a brass compass and a child's red shoe. The compass points to the last place you loved. The jar returns water given away in haste. The shoe fits the person who stopped playing too soon. Cavan maps mark the chamber but never draw its doors.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CRANNOG?. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
