What is recorded here

Corraneary holds a crannog, which means the water itself may have been a neighbourhood rather than an empty loss. A small island, a reed shore, a wooden rowing place and a household led by tide or rain could have belonged there. The name resists forgetting even when the shape has slipped beneath the surface.
