Crannog in Cashelenny is an oval stone island in Lough Nageage, County Donegal, measuring 26m NE-SW and 11m NW-SE. A half-submerged wall stands at its north end while another probable wall bisects the island, suggesting deliberate construction rather than mere rock. The lake sits among low hills, giving the crannog a quiet, hidden character. Whoever built it shaped a small world of stone and water, perhaps to live, hide or mark the place.

Dimensions 26m NE-SW, 11m NW-SE. An oval island in Lough Nageage apparently artifi-cially constructed of stones although possibly on a natural rock base. At the N end is a stone wall, .8m high and 1.3m wide, partially under water. Bisecting the island is another probable stone wall. Situated in a small lake in an area of low hills.
