Craiglockhart Castle stands as a ruined tower house in the Craiglockhart district of Edinburgh, built by the Lockharts of Lee in the 15th century. Originally four storeys high, only the first and part of the second remain today, leaving behind walls nearly two metres thick that still guard secrets of the past. The ruin is protected as a scheduled monument, preserving its history within the Craiglockhart Campus of Edinburgh Napier University.
