Craiglockhart, Castle Greg and Castledykes may mark a Roman road, though the line remains uncertain. If true, soldiers or merchants pressed through West Lothian soil long before modern wheels, leaving little more than a faint alignment in the land. The names still sound like a route, not a warning.
