Dual court tomb on a small knoll 450m W of the River Shannon, aligned NNE-SSW, with two ruined galleries 15m apart. The northern gallery is about 7m long, divided by jambs into two chambers, its front chamber lost but second chamber largely intact; the southern is reduced to jambs and scattered sidestones. A displaced lintel lies before the entrance, and one or two courtstones may remain beyond a fence to the NW. The cairn that once covered them is gone, leaving the chambers exposed like a house stripped to its bones.

Sited on a small knoll 450m W of the River Shannon. This dual court tomb, aligned NNE-SSW, has been denuded of its cairn this century. Two ruined galleries stand 15m apart. The northern, some 7m long, is divided by jambs into two chambers. A displaced lintel lies in front of the entrance jambs. There are one or possibly two courtstones beyond a fence to the NW. The sides of the front chamber are missing but the second chamber is largely intact. The remains of the southern gallery consist of two jambs marking a division between a northern chamber represented by two sidestones at the W and a southern chamber represented by two at the E. Court tomb, Late Neolithic period (c. 2500–2000 BCE). Its dual-gallery layout and orientation are characteristic of early megalithic funerary architecture in the midlands of Ireland, reflecting communal burial practices and ritual significance.
