Court tomb, Ballintaggart, County Armagh: Neolithic dead laid behind a long stone court before the field was taken. The tomb stands outside Ulster Museum now, pulled from its home to be seen. That movement is the strange part. What was hidden in soil and distance became a display, its dead made into visitors' wonder. The stones did not ask permission. They still give it up.
