Court Cairn, the May

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Court Cairn, the May as Cairn (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Court Cairn, the May is a Neolithic court cairn, dating to the late Neolithic period (c. 2500–2000 BCE). These tombs are significant as early communal burial monuments, reflecting complex social organisation and ritual practices in prehistoric Scotland.
