What is recorded here

Mullaghglass holds a counterscarp rath from the early Christian period, marked on the official map and protected as a scheduled site. The earthworks suggest a defended dwelling where people lived, worked and watched the land. Its shape still belongs to the field, waiting for eyes sharp enough to read the life buried beneath the grass.
