Counterfort and stone still mark Drumbally Fort in Coolsaragh, a scheduled place where human hands shaped the land long before modern borders drew their lines. The name itself preserves the shape: a counterfort, a rath, a fort, all layered like sediment in red earth. Whatever lived there has vanished, but the boundary remains, waiting for someone to walk it and remember that forgetting is not the same as losing.
