This commemorative plaque records: Cordons, the old rectory. Demolished to make way for the car park. Mr Churton Walker occupied it in 1928 and reported stones in his garden from the 15C. medieval church once on the site. The old fish pond is in the foreground with the weir into The Misbourne.
