This black commemorative plaque records: MYNWENT Y PANT Mae hon yn un o ddwy fynwent drefol fawr ym Merthyr a agorwyd yn 1849 yn ystod yr ail bla colera, pan fu farw 1432 o bobi. Darperid lleiniau qwahanol i wahanol grefyddau. PANT CEMETERY This is one of two large municipal cemeteries in Merthyr, opened in 1849 during the second cholera epidemic which claimed 1432 lives.
