This commemorative plaque records: This "Peace" tree was planted in 1995 to mark 50 years since the end of World War II. It was purchased by public subscription as part of the appeal of the Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth Councillor Don Jacques. Dedication Sunday, 28th January, 1996. Recorded plaque organisation: Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.
