This green commemorative plaque records: This plaque honours the name of John Bradley, born in nearby Little Ribston. March 20, 1840 + The development of this playing field was provided by his daughter Mrs. Jennie Bradley Roessing, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U. S. John Bradley, born on March 20, 1840, in Little Ribston, is remembered for his daughter Jennie Bradley Roessing's contribution to developing a local playing field between 1946 and 1954.
