Formerly owned by the Ibex Coffee Company, the mill was later sold to R. Twinning & Co., the famous tea merchants. Although no longer a working mill, the machinery still helps to regulate the flow of the River Thet.
The Coffee Mill was originally operated by the Ibex Coffee Company before being acquired by R. Twinning & Co., a renowned London-based tea merchant firm. Although no longer used for milling, the site remains historically significant for its role in local industry and for its continued function in managing the flow of the River Thet.
