On level ground. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1915) as a subcircular enclosure (N-S c. 40m, E-W c. 35m). Apart from a slight rise in ground level, no visible surface trace survives. A pit has been quarried out at W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
