Clonamery Castle stands as a ruined motte in County Kilkenny, its earthworks still shaping the land though no clear chamber or dated wall remains visible. The site may have served as a local stronghold or marker of power, but the absence of preserved structure leaves its purpose in shadow. What is certain is that the ground itself remembers the shape of human ambition, even when the stones have gone.
