Clochan in Baile An Bhúlaeraigh Thuaidh

On steep slopes of Beenduff. A large group of structures, most of which can be interpreted as animal pens or shelters, but including 2 or 3 corbelled drystone huts. (1) Probably originally circular but now bounded at S by later straight wall. 4 wall niches in interior. Entrance gap at E does not appear to be original. D: 4.05m. H: 2.25m. T: 1.4 to 1.55m. (2) (KE043-117001-) Abuts the plinth which supports the S side of (1). D: 2.2 to 2.5m. H: 2.25m. T: 1.25m. (3) (KE043-117002-) Uphill and to SE of the latter sites. Circular structure with lintelled entrance at SE and lintelled opening into subterranean chamber at NW. Latter is rectangular in plan, 2.4m x 2m x .67m high, and roofed by a single large slab.
