What is recorded here
The public map records City of London as a wreck.
The *City of London* was a British steamship, built in 1871 and lost in 1895 off the coast of Nova Scotia. It sank following a collision with the *City of Quebec*, resulting in the loss of 13 crew members; the wreck remains a notable example of 19th-century maritime trade in the North Atlantic.
A wreck point does not grant access or permission to dive, enter land, disturb the site or recover anything. Check current law and local conditions first.
