What is recorded here

A short rectangular cist (L 0.7m; Wth 0.4m) discovered in 1955. It contained the remains of an adult female, accompanied by an oyster shell and flint (Waddell 1970, 116; Waddell 1990, 86). Not precisely located. Compiled by Geraldine Stout and Padraig Clancy Revised upload on: 6 July 2018
A Neolithic cist burial, dating to approximately 4000–2500 BCE, containing an adult female with grave goods, indicating early funerary practices and social customs in the region.
