Kilcorney holds a small cist beside a larger tomb, suggesting the dead were not forgotten but the place kept being used. Three stones still stand in their original positions, two of them sharpened to points as if made for warning rather than burial. The nearby circle and reused chamber imply that people returned across generations to mark, bury or remember. What happened there is no longer certain, but the stones preserve the shape of continued human attention.

Within a cairn associated with a possible unclassified megalithic tomb (CL009-021012-). To the S of the possible chamber of the tomb, there is a cist-like feature (c. 0.6m NW-SE; x 0.55m NE-SW), which is defined by three stones (max. H 0.75m), all in situ. Some of the stones are pointed – an unusual feature for a cist. A possible stone circle (CL009-021060-) is visible to the SW of the chamber.
