What is recorded here
Baur North holds a small stone chamber where five flat slabs still stand on edge among hazel and karst. The eastern row has three stones, the western row two, and loose rock fills the narrow space between them. A wedge tomb waits twenty-four metres to the southwest, as if the plateau were saving its dead in more than one shape.
On a karst plateau in an area of hazel, with land gently sloping to E. A cist (L 1.14m; int. Wth 0.52m; ext. Wth 0.63m; H 0.9m) consisting of two parallel rows of large, flat slab-like stones standing on edge, orientated N–S, 0.52m apart and increasing in height from S to N. The E row (L 1.14m; Wth 0.03–0.08m; H. 0.55m) comprises three stones; the W row (L 0.82m; Wth 0.05–0.06m; H 0.9m) has two. The space between these rows is filled by large loose stones. A wedge tomb (CL009-019----) lies c.24m to the SW.

A small prehistoric stone cist, likely dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age, used for burial purposes. Its construction reflects early mortuary practices in the region, though its wider significance is limited due to lack of contextual details.
