What is recorded here

Donnell's little rock still stands beside the pasture, but the chapel built around it has vanished without a trace. The field keeps the name Chapel Field while the grass hides the stones, suggesting Donnell worshipped there before forgetting the place became easy.

In pasture, on W side of stream; no visible surface trace of structure marked 'site of Chapel', in field named 'Chapel Field', on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Rock outcrop c. 200m to S named 'Shepealcorvigeendonnell' on OS 6-inch map which O'Donoghue (1986, 277) gives as 'Seipeal Carragin Domhnaill - chapel of Donnell's little rock'.
