CHURCH (site of) & GRAVEYARD in Drumgaw; Killycapple

CHURCH (site of) & GRAVEYARD

What is recorded here

Drumgaw held a church and graveyard before memory faded, marking the spot where neighbours gathered to pray and bury their dead. The building has vanished, but the graveyard remains a quiet witness to lives that loved, argued, married and ended beside that place. People may have walked past stones worn smooth by rain, carrying bread, tears or silence into fields now lost from modern maps.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CHURCH (site of) & GRAVEYARD. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
