What is recorded here

Cloncolmoe in Old Forge held a church, graveyard and bullaun from the early Christian or medieval period, marking the area as a settled worship and burial place long before modern boundaries. The name suggests a continuous human relationship with the land, where prayer, death and memory shared one small landscape. Whatever remains buried there still belongs to the living imagination of County Antrim.
