What is recorded here

Killyvallagh church stands beside a graveyard and a worn bullaun stone in Ardicoan, County Antrim. The site may mark an early Christian place, though its exact origin is uncertain. A church built there would have given the surrounding land a centre for prayer, burial and memory. The stone, graveyard and church still suggest that people continued to gather where earlier beliefs already lived.
