On top of a crest of hill. According to O Murchadha (1967, 11), possible church site in 'Cill an Chró, now the western portion of Hoddersfield'. Area just north of road where Hoddersfield adjoins Aghamarta 'is still known as Geata Cillacró'. Townland boundary cuts off triangular area in corner of field on 1842 OS 6-inch map.
