Killysuggan in Milecross, County Down, held a church and graveyard during the nineteenth century before the site faded from ordinary use. The name suggests a small worshipful community gathered beside a grave, perhaps praying through rain or burying someone they loved. That much has vanished, leaving only the possibility that ordinary faith once occupied the ground.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CHURCH & GRAVEYARD (site of): KILLYSUGGAN. Recorded period: C19TH. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
