Disused by the late nineteenth century, the children's burial ground stands as a raised square in rough pasture, overlooking the Cummeragh river valley. Upright slabs and boulders crowd its uneven surface, marking a place where small lives ended before records or rituals were complete. The field holds more than stone; it holds the sudden absence of children, their names lost but their shape preserved in the earth.

This site, no longer in use by the late nineteenth century, is situated in rough pasture and overlooks the Cummeragh river valley to S. Field boundaries enclose an approximately rectangular area, 30.6m x 12.5m, within which the area of burial is confined to a raised area, square in plan. This measures 10.5m in overall dimensions and varies from .15m to .7m high. There is a large number of upright slabs and boulders on its very uneven upper surface. A number of larger boulders occur along the edges of the raised area. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
