Childrens Burial Ground in County Kerry, Ireland held a few graves marked by small stones before land improvement operations levelled the site. The subrectangular area appeared on both editions of the OS map, giving the children a visible place in the landscape until the work removed it. What is left is the shape of what was lost: a small corner where young lives were remembered, then erased by the same hands that believed they were improving the land.
